Concepts and Activities
The word of the day is…habitat! Plants, people and animals all need a place to live. Come explore how habitats meet the needs of living things through hands-on discovery.
- Enjoy a lively puppet show featuring animal friends who share what makes a habitat just right.
- Go on a quiet, sneaky outdoor bird walk to spot habitat clues and discover what living things need to survive.
- Be a hero to the plants in our Greenhouse by releasing ladybugs and getting an up-close look at how they help keep plants healthy.
- Plant your own take-home seeds to grow food for butterflies and their caterpillars — and help support a habitat of your own!
