The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a world leader in cold hardy plant research. Our work supports conservation, development and restoration efforts across the state.
Our researchers have developed hundreds of varieties of apples, azaleas, table and wine grapes, and ornamental grasses and trees. We are also working to conserve threatened and endangered native plant species.
