We know our world’s natural resources and lands are increasingly precious and undeniably finite. That’s why thoughtful, science-backed conservation and sustainability practices are so important to the Arboretum’s gardens, grounds and natural lands — across its 1,200 acres and beyond.
Five key pillars of this work include 1) environmental stewardship; 2) natural resources management and restoration; 3) species-specific plant conservation at the Arboretum and around Minnesota; 4) ecologically driven plant collections, curation and research; and 5) outreach and education. Dive in for a deeper look at this important work fueled by the Arboretum’s leaders, staff, members, donors and volunteers.
