Tours & Bee-Line Shuttle

You've made it to the Arboretum. Now it's time to explore! In addition to driving Three-Mile Drive and strolling Three-Mile Walk, visitors are also welcome to join a tour guide for a narrated, 1-hour tram tour or take a guided walking tour of the main gardens.
If you want to simply get around, check out the Bee-Line Shuttle, a hop-on-hop-off open-air ride.

Each 60-minute tour features an entertaining and engaging driver who narrates with information on flowers and plants, climate-resilient gardening, and Arboretum history. This educational tour is especially fun for adults of all ages who can soak in the beauty and gardening tips! Each driver has their own expertise, so the tour is always changing and allows visitors to make new discoveries and experience the Arboretum in different ways.
The tram departs on schedule and will take visitors on a tour of the grounds via Three-Mile Drive.
The tram will run during most weather conditions, please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the tram will be canceled and refunds will be issued at the Oswald Visitor Center Information Desk.
- The tram is designed for an adult audience. However, if children will ride, lap children ages three and under may ride on the lap of an adult; ages four and up must be in their own seat. This vehicle does not have seat belts. The tram is a slow-speed, open-air vehicle that does not exceed 15 mph.
