Live Osprey Cam
Every year, thousands watch here for the raptors’ return to their nest. Since 2013, viewers have watched with anticipation mixed with caution as ospreys lay eggs and hatch chicks that hopefully survive into adulthood. To do so, the chicks have to make it through several challenges, including successfully hatching, attacks by predators, staying in their nest despite strong winds and more.
Because this is a live video of wild animals in nature, natural struggles will occur, including inclement weather and other wild bird behaviors that may be difficult to watch. Please use discretion when viewing. We turn this camera off when staff are working nearby for privacy reasons. The video also can go out occasionally due to power or network outages at this remote location.
