Want more time to explore the Arboretum? Add a free self-guided visit before or after your scheduled field trip! Advance registration required.

1-3 Classes per time slot. Maximum of 3 classes, up to 30 students/class. If you have more than 3 classes, book more than one time slot.

Plan for your school program

Pay for your program Payment may be made online when you register or at least 30 days before your Field Trip program date. We accept Credit Cards or Checks. Mail checks to: MLA Attn Terre K, MLA School Services, 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska MN 55318; Check memo: Field Trip.

# of Adults on your Field trip: The total # of accompanying adults on a field trip, including teachers, is a maximum  of 1 adult per 5 students. The minimum requirement is 1 adult per 10 students. Note: One-on-one paras with students are considered in the student count, not the adult count. 

Bus directions Give your bus driver Directions to the Arboretum AND Directions to Field Trips at the Learning Center.

Have lunch at the Arb: In the fall and spring, outdoor lunch spaces are available by the Learning Center for groups on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policy No refunds if you cancel less than 30 days in advance. In extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel programs for Field Trip safety. You will not be charged a cancellation fee under these circumstances. Review our cancellation policies.

The best chance of being enrolled in a sold out class is to add your name to the waitlist. Click the "waitlist" button or link next to the class and complete the form. There is no obligation to register if a spot opens. If the waitlist shows enough demand, additional sessions may be added.
