Concepts and Activities

Plants and pollinators are designed to work together! Students will investigate the clever strategies plants use to attract pollinators in the spring and explore this powerful partnership in action through engaging, hands-on activities.

  • Discover the surprising adaptations flowers use to attract the right pollinators for the job.
  • Dissect flowers using microscopes to investigate their parts, and take a closer look at the structures that help pollinators do their work.
  • Search for a variety of flowers and their pollinators on an interactive scavenger hunt.
  • Plant a pollinator-friendly plant to take home and keep the pollination investigation growing!
