Concepts and Activities

Join us for an interactive exploration as students become plant detectives, investigating how sunlight, water, and soil shape plant life across Desert, Tropical Rainforest and Wetland habitats.

  • Step into the Greenhouse — warm even in winter! — and explore diverse plant environments with a hands-on scavenger hunt.
  • Dig into discovery by comparing soils from different habitats and creating your own tiny take-home tropical terrarium.
  • Put your detective skills to the test in the Mixed-Up Plant Lab, using plant adaptations to match each plant to its correct habitat.
