Explore the Arboretum on your own schedule, according to your group's interests.

  • Advance registration is required.
  • Self-Guided Visit fees and Pollinator Activity Backpack fees INCLUDE Arboretum gate admission. Charges may apply for additional students or chaperones that exceed the stated limit. See individual program information for full details.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds if you cancel less than 30 days in advance. In extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel programs for safety. You will not be charged a cancellation fee under these circumstances.

Available Monday-Friday only
2022: April 1-Oct. 31
2023: April 24-Oct 31

Per group: $25/Free if added onto a Field Trip reservation

Available daily May 8-June 2, 2023

$45/backpack rental, advance registration required.

Waitlist form

The best chance of being enrolled in a sold out class is to add your name to the waitlist. Click the "waitlist" button or link next to the class and complete the form. There is no obligation to register if a spot opens. If the waitlist shows enough demand, additional sessions may be added.

Covid-19 safety

Effective Thursday, May 12, 2022, masks are no longer required for classes at the Arboretum. As a community, it is important that we continue to respect and honor the decision of those who choose to wear a mask, recognizing the concerns of those who are immunocompromised or are taking steps to protect their families or others.
