A brand-new light display is coming to the Arboretum! This season, the Arboretum transforms into Northern Lights: a masterfully curated, immersive nightscape where art, technology and the natural world align. 

Designed to honor the brilliance of our northern climate, this elevated winter experience brings majestic oaks and towering pine canopies to life through professional light projection, radiant uplighting and synchronized sound. 

The event will feature new interactive experiences that celebrate the beauty of the Arboretum’s nighttime landscape and transform the grounds into a light-filled wonderland with nature in the spotlight. As you wander a mesmerizing, multi-sensory pathway designed to spark curiosity at every turn, you will discover glowing mushrooms, trees dancing to music and light, interactive woodland animals, and even a nod to famed musician Prince that celebrates his love for these very grounds.

From vibrant outdoor installations to warm indoor moments, Northern Lights invites guests of all ages to embrace and engage with the longest nights of the year in an entirely new light.
