Open Friday-Sunday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Enjoy coffee shop classics like lattes, cappuccinos and macchiatos in addition to hot chocolate, apple cider and chai lattes using a house-made chai! Arboretum members receive 10% off with their membership card.

Take in all that the Arboretum has to offer with a fresh, warm beverage!

Arboretum Culinary Lead

Beth brings an extensive culinary background including an instructor at Kitchen Window and other various culinary schools in the metro area. Many people know Beth from her work at Lucia's, Wise Acre Eatery, Thirty Bales, Rustica, French Meadow and Kruse Markit.

Executive Chef

Niki has well over a decade of high-end restaurant and hospitality experience, including management, development and day-to-day running of food operations of all shapes and sizes. Niki is excited about working with the Arboretum to create a space that complements the overall visitor experience.

Melinda Alves

Sous Chef

Melinda is an experienced professional chef and café manager and handles the scratch cooking, menu development and day-to-day kitchen leadership at Rootstock. Melinda is a graduate from Saint Paul College's Culinary Arts program and brings experience from working at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts and the Minnesota History Center. Melinda is passionate about delivering fresh, high-quality food and a thoughtful dining experience to all visitors at the Arboretum.
