Join us for this exciting photographic journey to discover butterflies – the pollinator gems of our flower gardens! In this webinar, certified pollinator steward and macro photographer Karen Campbell will show you what an amazing life butterflies (and moths) live in their summertime dazzle. With her stunning macro photographs, Karen will show us how to interpret their behavior, learn what they need to survive and leave us with tips on how we can attract them to our own gardens.
In this class you will learn:
- How to separate butterflies and moths
- What happens to butterflies when they aren't winged adults
- The importance of native hot plants
- How to support butterflies beyond providing flower nectar
