FULL-DAY camps combine morning and afternoon themed camps, separated by a fun lunch hour. These camps are offered bundled together as full-day only, and are not available individually as half-day options. Full day also offers flexible extended drop off and pick-up times: Drop off between 8:30-9 a.m.; Pick up between 4-4:30 p.m.

Outdoor Survival Adventure (Morning)
Sharpen your survival skills "tool kit" as you tackle challenges in the Arboretum’s great outdoors. Plunge into hands-on exploration, creation, and adventure while developing lifelong skills along the way!
- Master the Elements: Learn the ancient art of fire-building using flint and steel, and use your success to prepare food outdoors.
- Navigate Like a Pro: Complete an engaging orienteering treasure hunt using a map and compass to test your navigation skills.
- Gear Up: Craft essential takeaway items, including your own custom survival wristband and all-weather firestarters.
- Identify Nature's Resources: Discover the secrets of the forest by learning to identify key wild plants.
Eco Spy Academy (Afternoon)
** TOP SECRET ** New recruits needed for Eco Spy Academy training. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work undercover to develop skills of stealth, awareness and survival. The natural world will be the setting for experiments and investigations in chromatography, forensics and code-breaking.
- Receive top-secret instruction and a secret agent name.
- Craft a sneaky hiding spot for spy gear.
- Train as a garden detective and solve sensory mysteries.
- Team up with other secret agents to hunt for clues that will reveal some of the Arboretum’s hidden wonders!
Print and complete the Day Camp Gate Pass form that will be sent to you by email from the Camp Coordinator before camp begins. Show your completed form to the gate attendant to receive limited 15-minute admission for Day Camp drop-off and pick-up only. If you intend to stay at the Arboretum on the same day as your child’s Day Camp for longer than 15 minutes, advance tickets are recommended to ensure your admission to the Arboretum and should be presented to the gate attendant.
