Fridays are fun days at the Arboretum! This series of one-day mini-camps brings together some of summer’s most popular activities and outdoor games, along with opportunities to dig a little deeper into the fascinating world of pollinators. Combine these fun-packed morning sessions with weekday camps to make a 5-day session, or just come for the day!

Practice surviving and thriving in the great outdoors as you explore the Arboretum in search of outdoor adventure!

  • Construct an outdoor shelter.
  • Make fire starters.
  • Prepare a snack over the fire.
  • Complete an orienteering treasure hunt.

Arboretum entry instructions

Print and complete the Day Camp Gate Pass form that will be sent to you by email from the Camp Coordinator before camp begins. Show your completed form to the gate attendant to receive limited 15-minute admission for Day Camp drop-off and pick-up only. If you intend to stay at the Arboretum on the same day as your child’s Day Camp for longer than 15 minutes, advance tickets are recommended to ensure your admission to the Arboretum and should be presented to the gate attendant. Make reservations to visit.
