Fridays are fun days at the Arboretum! This series of one-day mini-camps brings together some of summer’s most popular activities and outdoor games, along with opportunities to dig a little deeper into the fascinating world of pollinators. Combine these fun-packed morning sessions with weekday camps to make a 5-day session, or just come for the day!
Program location: Farm at the Arb - Bee and Pollinator Discovery Center
Discover the hidden world of bees and the amazing work they do!
- Suit up in beekeeping gear to get an up-close look inside a working honey bee hive!
- Go on a pollinator safari to learn about the incredible diversity of bees that call Minnesota home.
- Observe bee behavior.
- Taste test different types of honey!
Print and complete the Day Camp Gate Pass form that will be sent to you by email from the Camp Coordinator before camp begins. Show your completed form to the gate attendant to receive limited 15-minute admission for Day Camp drop-off and pick-up only. If you intend to stay at the Arboretum on the same day as your child’s Day Camp for longer than 15 minutes, advance tickets are recommended to ensure your admission to the Arboretum and should be presented to the gate attendant.
