Program location: Learning Center
Dig into a summer filled with growing adventures and hands-on garden fun! Join us as we plant and care for the garden, and delight in a variety of weekly activities, projects, and recipes inspired by the ever-evolving garden. Enjoy a bounty of vegetables, flowers, herbs and beauty in the place where summer comes alive!
- Learn how to tend to our gardens from seed to harvest.
- Investigate and explore together in the living laboratory of the garden.
- Harvest nutritious produce to create delicious snacks in the Harvest Kitchen.
- Enjoy the bounty of your garden even after the season ends by continuing to visit your plot into the early fall!
Please note: This program is designed for children going into Grades 1 or higher. Please see Pea Pods for Preschoolers as an option for younger children.
