Discover how plants and animals are the original architects of the natural world and use their tricks to design your own imaginative creations as we explore, build, and innovate.
- Investigate the construction of bird nests, beaver dams and spider webs, then create your own animal-inspired structures using natural materials.
- Team up to design, create, test and refine solutions to engineering challenges.
- Experiment with LEGO™ bricks, magnifying lenses, microscopes and a variety of other tools that will bring your ideas to life.
Print and complete the Day Camp Gate Pass form that will be sent to you by email from the Camp Coordinator before camp begins. Show your completed form to the gate attendant to receive limited 15-minute admission for Day Camp drop-off and pick-up only. If you intend to stay at the Arboretum on the same day as your child’s Day Camp for longer than 15 minutes, advance tickets are recommended to ensure your admission to the Arboretum and should be presented to the gate attendant.
