Join us for a narrated tram tour highlighting our varied collections, display gardens, and our Farm at the Arb!

Duration: Approximately 65 minutes

Dates and Times:  Tours run daily in season (beginning Monday, May 2, 2022) at 10:30 a.m., Noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. (no 10:30 a.m. tour on Mondays). The tram will close for the 2022 season on Oct. 23.   

Tickets: Same-day tickets are available for purchase in person at the Visitor Center Information Desk. Sorry, tickets are not available for pre-sale or online sales. Before you board, present your tickets to your tram driver.

Cost: $6/seat. Price does NOT include Arboretum admission.

*The tram is designed for an adult audience. However, if children will ride, lap children ages three and under may ride on the lap of an adult; ages four and up must be in their own seat. 

Accessibility: There are two wheelchair-accessible seats available.

Departure Location: The tram boards from the parking circle in front of the Oswald Visitor Center. Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before your scheduled time.

Helpful Information

  • The tram departs on schedule, please be present by no later than five minutes prior to tram departure.
  • Tram will run during most weather conditions, please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the tram will be canceled and refunds will be issued at the Visitor Center Information Desk.
