Learning Format: Online and self-paced, ProHort can be completed on your own schedule and is accessible by computer, tablet or smartphone. Interactive quizzes help assess knowledge, and course coordinator is available for questions. 

Skill Level: ProHort is designed for homeowners, hobbyists, industry professionals, educators and anyone seeking a comprehensive foundational horticulture education from University of Minnesota Extension.

Equipment: A computer or mobile device with internet access is required to participate in the course. Smartphones and tablets work best with the free Canvas app.

Completion: The estimated time commitment is 40 to 60 hours. A certificate is awarded upon completion.
