Photographer Permits and Membership
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's gardens, natural areas and buildings are beautiful settings for your client’s celebrations and photos. We look forward to working with you!
Depending on your needs we provide either session permits or an Annual Photographer Membership. A permit or membership is required for professional photography sessions that are not part of a private event taking place at the Arboretum. All photo sessions are good for two hours and are limited and subject to availability.
Visitors taking photographs for personal use do not need a permit, but we do ask that all photographers (amateur and professional) observe our photography etiquette.
Photography Permits
Do I need a photo permit?
- Includes admission for the photographer
- Additional staff and clients require a daily admission ticket. Please reserve these tickets early to avoid being unable to gain admission to the gardens. Clients risk being denied entrance if we are sold out for that time frame.
- If there are additional shoots over the course of the day, additional permits are required.
- Arrival and access: Photographers with session permits should wear the sticker badge provided by the gatehouse when taking photos.
