Grape Breeding & Enology Annual Field Day

Visitors can enjoy a day in the fields and orchards at the opposite end of the Arboretum, tasting more than 50 varieties of table and wine grapes. (A 21-plus valid ID is required).

The local “University of Minnesota Grape Breeding & Enology Annual Field Day” takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Horticultural Research Center. Meet UMN faculty, Extension specialists and research staff to discuss cold-hardy grape research.
