We have great news today from the Arboretum’s live Osprey Cam: The osprey chick known as Lil Arb — this year’s lone surviving chick — has successfully fledged according to Twin Cities Metro Osprey Watch.
The group’s Facebook post on Tuesday, Aug. 6, said: “Lil Arb fledged this morning at about 6:42! And returned at about 8:12! A successful fledge!”
Another watcher said: “An absolutely perfect morning for a fledge too. A return around 8:12 and back out again, and again … to explore the beautiful landscape at the Arb. Great job!!”
