Thank you for supporting the 2024 Gala in the Gardens

Thanks to generous supporters, the Arboretum's annual Gala in the Gardens was a huge success! The celebration was back in the main gardens and raised nearly $500,000 that will enable the Arboretum to continue to serve as a vital resource for our community.

The 2024 Gala in the Gardens Fund-a-Need will help build partnerships and engage communities through art.
Building on successful Arboretum collaborations such as the “Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk” with Spirit Lake Dakota artist Marlena Myles and "Then and Now: Somali Stories Through Art" with local Somali artists, the Arboretum continues to lead the way with cross-cultural experiences directly tied to the natural world. As one of the first arboreta to have a dedicated art curator on staff, our Arboretum is uniquely positioned to be a model leader in engaging communities through art and nature.
Your support will help open the Arboretum to new voices and new audiences by highlighting communities across the region through compelling exhibitions that explore unique intersections of art and nature. This year’s Fund-a-Need will provide resources to continue the Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk and initiate two new collaborations. Over the next two years, the Arboretum will co-create new exhibits by engaging with communities including indigenous artists across Minnesota and Wisconsin and the Hmong community.
Together we can welcome and inspire.

Your gift to the 2024 Gala in the Gardens directly supports the mission of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. We thank you for your support!
