AppleHouse

Re-opening for the 2026 season
on Thursday, Aug. 20!

Welcome to the AppleHouse!

Just 1.5 miles west of the main Arboretum entrance on Highway 5, the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum AppleHouse is an iconic seasonal destination, featuring Minnesota-grown apples, including varieties grown at the Arboretum’s nearby Horticultural Research Center.

Many of the University of Minnesota’s introduced apple varieties are for sale, along with gourmet packaged foods, frozen pies, pastries, fudge, gifts and — in the fall — pumpkins, squash and gourds, also grown at the Arboretum. While supplies last, the AppleHouse also offers delicious Goldy’s Smokehouse meats, ice cream and Bee Lab honey from the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Science (CFANS).
