Mother's Day Picnic Boxed Lunch

Honor mom with a delightful picnic lunch and thousands of blooms on Mother’s Day at the Arboretum. Reserve a picnic lunch and follow it up with a walk through the Arboretum gardens to see all the spring blooms, including a display of 40,000 tulips planted throughout the grounds. Don't forget to stop by the Gift & Garden Store to find something extra special for mom and enter to win one of three prize baskets. 

Each boxed lunch contains:

  • Sandwich (choice of turkey, ham, roast beef or veggie)
  • Chips
  • Fruit
  • Cookie
  • Bottled water

Pick up boxed lunches in the MacMillan Auditorium and then picnic on the Arboretum Grounds

Special Ticketed Event: Purchase of a boxed lunch includes general admission to the Arboretum. Boxed lunch reservations must be made by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8.

  • Members and children under age 15: $20
  • Non-members: $40
