Auxiliary

Auxiliary women working at the Glass Pumpkin Patch

The Auxiliary is a group of enthusiasts who support the work of the Arboretum through fundraising and volunteering. As an important part of the Arboretum community, the Auxiliary provides members with learning opportunities and social experiences to support and encourage their interests and talents.

Auxiliary members may join craft groups to make items for sale at fundraising events (see below). There are also many opportunities to volunteer for Auxiliary events without belonging to a craft group. Members may also serve on the Auxiliary Board of Directors as officers and committee chairs and use their abilities in management, communications and finance to further benefit the Auxiliary.

Auxiliary memberships are available to existing Arboretum volunteers only. Visit the volunteer page for step-by-step instructions on becoming an Arboretum volunteer. If you have additional questions, call us at 612-625-9865. Please contact Carla McCarty, Membership Chair, at [email protected] for additional information on joining the Auxiliary.
