2022 Auxiliary Quilt Raffle Fundraiser

May 8-Sept. 24 in the Great Hall of the Oswald Visitor Center

Buy a chance to win a handmade quilt created by the Arboretum Auxiliary. “In the Garden,” this year’s quilt, features a contemporary design representing popular garden flowers from a book of flower patterns by Ruth McDowell. The 69” x 78” quilt is a kaleidoscope of color, featuring daylilies, tulips, coneflowers, columbine, sweet peas, iris and morning glories. Find it on display in the Great Hall of the Oswald Visitor Center and buy a raffle ticket for $2 for a chance to win the quilt. The drawing will be held Sept. 24 in the Snyder Auditorium as a part of the Arboretum Auxiliary’s Annual Harvest Sale. Money raised from the quilt raffle benefits the Arboretum.

Knit & Stitch

Alternate Fridays and Wednesdays January through May, Azalea Classroom in Oswald Visitor Center

From winter to spring, join other Auxiliary members and interested Arboretum visitors for a morning of knitting, crocheting, handwork, or just visiting. We can help you get started with a handiwork project. Knit & Stitch is free and open to the public, with gate admission. Bring your own project and materials and join us.
