2020/2021 SCHOLARSHIPS LIST*

Arboretum Field Trip in-a-Box Classroom Activity Sets will be based on our popular Arboretum seasonal Field Trip & Plantmobile themes and provide Arboretum style hands-on plant experiences this fall no matter if you are in-person, on-line, or in a hybrid learning model.

Field Trip in-a-Box Classroom Activity Set Scholarship

Field Trip in-a-Box72 available beginning December 14, 2020. More may be available at a future date.   

To Qualify
50% Free & Reduced Lunch Eligibility
Scholarship Benefit(s)
Covers full cost (100%) of the fees for one Field Trip in-a-Box Classroom Activity Set.
How To Apply:
Click and review the "Steps to Applying Online" drop-down box on this webpage (below), then complete the scholarship request form
Rules

  • Scholarship can be applied to any available Field Trip in-a-Box Classroom Activity Set.
  • Registration must be completed before the scholarship request form is submitted.
  • One grade level teacher may apply for scholarship for each class in their grade with a single scholarship request form.
  • Limit one scholarship per product, per grade level, per school, in this scholarship period (this period is for Winter 2020/2021).

Steps to Applying Online

Steps to Applying Online

1. Browse Available Scholarships Above
Choose scholarship for which your school qualifies. 

2. Book an Arboretum School Program Online
 Create or sign in to your user account and order your preferred products online

3. Complete Scholarship Request Form

  • The Scholarship Request Form will be activated for the 20-21 school year beginning August 26, 2020, noon
  • Only completed forms will be considered for scholarships
  • Scholarship requests cannot be filled by phone or email. 
  • See HELPFUL INFORMATION NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE REQUEST, below

 4. Receive a reply from the Arboretum Office

  • Completed requests will be notified of status within one week.
  • Approved scholarships will be applied to the order. 
  • Those not approved will be given the option to keep or release products in the order

  • Date/title/order # of requested Field Trip

  • Your school's Free & Reduced Lunch %

  1. Go to https://mndatamaps.web.health.state.mn.us/interactive/frpl.html 
  2. In the box on the top right hand corner of the map select schools (the third choice from the top). That will locate the schools on the Map of Minnesota.
  3. Zoom in to find your school and hover over the location dot of your school.

When the school location is hovered over, the free and reduced price lunch percent (total FRPL eligibility %) is shown in a box in lower left hand corner.
