$315 member/$330 non-member, includes Arboretum admission and project supplies plus the added value of an extra lunch hour (bring your own bag lunch) filled with bonus games and activities.

 **FULL-DAY camps combine morning and afternoon themed camps, separated by a fun lunch hour. These camps are offered bundled together as full-day only, and are not available individually as half-day options. Full day also offers flexible extended drop off and pick-up times: Drop off between 8:30-9:00 a.m.; Pick up between 4:00-4:30 p.m.

Green Thumb Garden (Morning)

Bountiful Arboretum gardens and the “Farm at the Arb” fields  provide the perfect setting for the next generation to forge a connection with growing food. Get inspired by the power of plants through exciting hands-on gardening, cooking and eating experiences!

  • Unravel the secrets of plants and the joy of digging in the soil. 
  • Discover the fascinating creatures that play a role in the garden ecosystem.
  • Explore the delicious world of veggies straight from the garden through taste tests, and preparation of simple dishes and snacks.

Hogswood Forest School of Magic (Afternoon)

Calling all witches and wizards! Experience the wonder and excitement of a magical world at Hogswood Forest, North America’s premier nature witchcraft and wizarding school! 

  • Get sorted into “houses” for the week.
  • Study nature-based subjects like ‘Herbology,’ ‘Potions’ and ‘Care of Magical Creatures’. 
  • Test your skills at wizard dueling and  “Kidditch”.
  • Brew butterbeer and conjure up some other tasty treats.
  • Explore the Forbidden Forest.
  • Compete in a friendly wizarding tournament!

Big imaginations and optional magical attire are encouraged!

Arboretum entry instructions

Print and complete the Day Camp Gate Pass form that will be sent to you by email from the Camp Coordinator before camp begins. Show your completed form to the gate attendant to receive limited 15-minute admission for Day Camp drop-off and pick-up only. If you intend to stay at the Arboretum on the same day as your child’s Day Camp for longer than 15 minutes, you must reserve admission tickets and present your tickets to the gate attendant.

Waitlist form

The best chance of being enrolled in a sold out class is to add your name to the waitlist. Click the "waitlist" button or link next to the class and complete the form. There is no obligation to register if a spot opens. If the waitlist shows enough demand, additional sessions may be added.

Member purchasing policy

Can Members register accompanying Non-member participants for Educational programs at the discounted member rate?

Yes. Arboretum Education policy is that Members may purchase a class or camp on behalf of an accompanying Non-member at the discounted Member price as long as they are registering and paying for at least one spot for themselves. Members must Sign in, enter the total number of Member-price tickets for all participants they are purchasing for, and then complete each participant’s name and prompted information at the checkout screen. The transaction must be completed at the same time as the Member's registration(s). This policy applies only to Arboretum Education programs and classes, and is not applicable to other Arboretum purchases like Events or Admission Tickets.
