Go Public Gardens Days Free Members-only Appreciation Event

Celebrate Go Public Gardens Days (May 6-15) at the Arboretum as we truly go green on Friday, May 13! Experience the beauty of the Arb all lit up with green lights at dusk. Enjoy live music as you stroll through thousands of beautiful tulips and other spring blooms. 

This special, members-only sunset access includes:

  • Ice cream treat and live music to enjoy as you stroll the gardens.
  • Thank you gift from the membership team.
  • 20% discount on total purchase price at the Gift & Garden Store.
  • Meet artists Georgia Kandiko and Brenna Busse from Birds, Birds, Birds: Art Takes Flight at the Arb opening May 5 in the Reedy Gallery and Abigail Blythe Davisson, whose work is featured in the Pollinator Friendly show on display through May 22 in Cafe Gallery.
  • Book signing featuring Arboretum Director of Operations Alan Branhagen, who will chat about native plants and sign copies of “Native Plants of the Midwest” and “The Midwest Native Plant Primer” in the Gift & Garden Store. Enter a drawing to win a signed copy of one of his books.
