Soak up spring at the beautiful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum while shopping from up to 60 local artists and artisans select weekends in May. Enjoy live music and food and beverage for purchase as you check out your favorite makers from past years and discover new ones. Markets will be in the Scarecrow Hill area and will be open rain or shine. 

Please note that several vendors may not be present for all three May Market weekends.

Included with general daily admission, which is free for members and ages 15 and younger and $20-$25 for non-members ages 16 and older. Tickets must be reserved in advance of your visit to guarantee admission.

Saturday, May 17 | Cattadoris Sandberg Duo

The Cattadoris Sandberg Duo are two musicians (Brad Cattadoris and Alex Sandberg) whose performance together produces a complementing blend of vocals and guitars which they identify as the “J45 and a Strat Show”. Their music comprises soft rock originals written by Brad Cattadoris (Americana: Ballads & Lifestyle) mixed with contemporary and classic popular songs. 

Sunday, May 18 | Traveled Ground

From Blues to ballads, from rock to waltzes, from bluegrass to soul, Traveled Ground and their brand Roots music crosses the spectrum of the American Roots sound bridging old and new, originals and classics into a sound that is timeless, and all their own. Hailing out of the Big Woods of Minnesota their music is a cross pollination of folk, blues, soul, gospel, jazz and roots rock traditions, with original and artful covered songs. Traveled Grounds' shows range from a solo, duo, trio to a full band show led by singer-songwriter Clark Machtemes. Their years and wealth of experience from live shows to studio work have led to local, regional and national stages that showcase their unique and special sound. They have released seven full-length albums with their latest released in the Spring of 2024. Their music is available on all major streaming sites and at live shows. 

Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25 | Joshua J Schmidt Music

Joshua J Schmidt has made his mark on the national music scene over the past decade. As a live-looping acoustic artist, he blends the timeless traditions of acoustic folk-rock with elements of pop nostalgia. His shows are characterized by a personal touch on a diverse range of vintage rock influences, and his well-developed guitar skills and catchy vocal melodies.
