Florida: Gainesville, St. Augustine & Jacksonville - March 13-20, 2023
Join host Susan Taylor as she explores the Sunshine State. Trip highlights include a visit to the Butterfly Rainforest at the Museum of Natural History, Historic Haile Homestead and the amazing "talking walls" of the family farmhouse and Sweetwater Wetlands. The tour also includes a visit to the oldest continually-inhabited city in the contiguous United States, St. Augustine.
The trip concludes with a four day visit to Jacksonville, Florida with visits to the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens, the Okefenokee National Wildlife Reserve and a narrated tour on the St. John's River. Along the way there are numerous stops that are more fully explained in the attached brochure and registration form.

Your host, Arboretum Director of Operations Alan Branhagen, will accompany you on this trip to New York. Enjoy the cherry blossoms in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the historic Green-Wood Cemetery. Other stops on the trip will include the Narrows Botanical Garden, DUMBO Neighborhood, New York Botanical Garden, famed High Line park, Wave Hill Public Garden, and a cruise on the Hudson River to see Lady Liberty. We will also visit the 9/11 memorial and see the Chinese Scholar's Garden on Staten Island.
